Weekly beginner country swing lessons. Weekly beginner lessons focus on the basic footwork, connection, and technique for the first 30 minutes of class. The second half of class focuses on a beginner country swing combination. Don’t get complacent with the basics! These are the foundation to becoming a smooth and elegant modern country swing dancer.

Line dance lessons focus on counting music, learning the basic steps occurring in most line dances and learning 1-2 line dances per class depending on the size and skill level of the class.
Line dance lessons are currently inquiry based only. Please submit a form including available dates and times.
Mountains Dancing is also available for private group line dance lessons and events. Please submit an inquiry. Private events range from price per head or per hour depending on the size of the event.

Intermediate Country Swing Lessons focus on mastering the fundamentals in accenting specific footwork, connection, and may explore styling. The first 30 minutes of class consists of dancing with Mountains Dancing instructors and the class to identify modifications of technique. The second half of class teaches an intermediate country swing combination.
Currently, intermediate country swing lessons are held by inquiry only. Please fill out the form, including available dates and times. Intermediate lessons to be added to the studio schedule as deemed necessary based on class sizes and skill level.

Private lessons are available through inquiry only. Both line dancing and country swing private lessons are available. Please fill out the form.
Mountains Dancing recommends 6 private lessons spread out weekly or bi-weekly to practice and perfect your skills.
Individual private lessons are $40 per hour.
Six private lessons are $200 and scheduled with the available instructors.

Mountains Dancing is available for hire for private events. Pricing ranges from per person to hourly depending on the number of team members and size of event. Both line dancing and country swing is available for private events.
Examples of events include holiday parties, birthdays, bachelorette parties, wedding parties, etc.

Mountains Dancing currently teaches four week-long Beginner Country Swing Bootcamps and Beginner Line Dancing classes through the Life Long Learning Center. Participants must be registered to attend prior to the first class. Please see events for the link to sign up.

Peak members are now able to line dance with Ashley every Saturdays at 1015! Line Dance Lessons will be less instructional and instead cardiovascular fitness will be prioritized. Lessons are held at the Blue Mountain Peak location beginning March 1.
