Mountains Dancing now offers a 6-week Intro/Beginner Country Swing Bootcamp. This bootcamp will be 90 minutes and include a basic line dance, only to help beginners understand timing and footwork. Line dancing aligns with country swing in counting and understanding stepping with a beat. The rest of class focuses on country swing. Each week will progress you through the basics in timing, technique, footwork, frame, connection, and basic patterns.

Thursdays 7-8PM

Weekly country swing lessons. Each week come learn a new combo and reestablish your basics. Intermediate classes will focus on enhancing your foundations, while learning new intermediate concepts and moves.

Thursdays 6-7PM

Thursday line dance lessons teach 1-2 new line dances a week in the High Beginner and Intermediate range. The end of class will focus on reviewing line dances from prior weeks to help with memorization.

Private lessons can be booked for both line dancing and country swing by inquiry only. Private lessons are 1 hour long. Please fill out the form indicating the type of private lesson and preferred availability.

Country Swing: Mountains Dancing recommends 6 private lessons spread out weekly or bi-weekly to gradually build basic footwork, timing, technique, and move progression.

Mountains Dancing is available for hire for private events. Both country swing and line dancing is available. Pricing ranges from per person to hourly depending on the number of team members, size of event, and cost of travel.

Examples of events include holiday parties, birthdays, bachelorette parties, wedding parties, etc.

Mountains Dancing offers different packages for wedding dances. Wedding dances include: bride/groom, mother/son, father/daughter, bachelor/bachelorette party dances etc.

Please fill out the inquiry form indicating the type of dance, whether you want choreography, song, level of experience (in any type of dance), date of the event, and availability.

Mountains Dancing offers a wide range of packages from full choreographed dances to helping perfect your own style! Packages include per session or packs of 3-6 sessions.

It is recommended to begin dance lessons for a wedding 3-6 months in advance. Please take note that choreographed dances require a two week notice prior to your first lesson for our team to create your dance.

Mountains Dancing currently teaches Beginner Country Swing Bootcamps and Beginner Line Dance classes through the Life Long Learning Center. Participants must be registered to attend prior to the first class. Please see events for the link to sign up.

Mountains Dancing partners with The Hat Edit in Stevensville, Montana for First Friday. Come enjoy 3 hours of line dancing with Mountains Dancing from 6-9PM. We teach 2-3 line dances an hour, mixed with practicing line dances learned that night and from prior First Fridays.

Mountains Dancing also partners with The Hat Edit for private events in conjunction with The Hat or Charm Bar.

Please be aware that private lessons require a down payment of $30/hour. This deposit will be used to reserve the studio, and lessons must be cancelled within 48 hours for a full refund. Due to high demand and low availability of time slots, lessons cancelled less than 48 hours before your scheduled lesson will result in a nonrefundable deposit.

For events, a down payment is required. The down payment is a calculated percentage of the total cost of the event (depending on the number of guests, location, equipment, instructors, etc.). Events cancelled less than 48 hours before the scheduled event are subject to a nonrefundable deposit. We offer full refunds of deposits if cancelled at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled event.
