  • Ina Walden

    Ina (Erika) Walden

    Ina is the founder and owner of Mountains Dancing. Ina has been dancing since 2018 beginning with line dancing, rodeo swing and 2-step. Ina began modern country swing in 2022 and started instructing line dancing and country swing in August 2023. Ina specializes in follow focused footwork and cues.

    Ina graduated as a Registered Nurse candidate from Montana State University. Ina is originally from Torrance, California and has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science.

    Outside of dancing and studying, Ina enjoys traveling and staying active with activities like hiking, yoga and spending time with her dog Toby.

  • Cody Hambrick

    Cody Hambrick

    Cody has been dancing for 9 years, beginning with rodeo swing. Cody began modern country swing in October 2022 and started instructing country swing in October 2023. Cody specializes in lead focused footwork and cues.

    Cody is a civil land development engineer for Woith Engineering after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Cody grew up as an Army brat, but calls Montana his home. Cody is currently preparing to take his Professional Engineering Exam.

    Outside of dancing and work, Cody enjoys spending time with family, playing videogames with his friends, and spending time with his dog Toby.

    Nicole Childers

    Nicole has been dancing for 26 years, with experience in a multitude of dance styles such as ballet, tap, jazz, and lyrical. Nicole is also a certified U-JAM instructor. Nicole began country swing and line dancing in January 2022 and started instructing in October 2023. Nicole specializes in footwork and timing.

    Nicole is a current 3L at the University of Montana Alexander Blewett III School of Law. Originally from Seattle, WA, Nicole has also lived in four other states and is a United States Army veteran.

    Outside of dancing and studying, Nicole enjoys traveling and spending time with her pug, Ruby, and her Chiweenie, Waylon.

  • Ashley Rogers

    Ashley Rogers

    Ashley has been dancing for 3 years with a focus on country swing, line dancing and 2-step. Ashley began instructing country swing and line dancing in October 2023. Ashley specializes in follow styling and technique.

    Ashley is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology at the University of Montana. Originally from Burley, Idaho, Ashley moved to Montana to help care for her grandma's ranch and horses. Ashley is also a certified welder.

    Outside of dancing and studying, Ashley enjoys horseback riding, spending time with her family, and welding items for her Stevensville farmer’s market booth (check it out!).

  • Trevor Smith

    Trevor Smith

    Trevor has been dancing for 4 years, jumping right into country swing and line dancing. Trevor began instructing country swing in October 2023. Trevor specializes in lead focus cues, footwork, and technique.

    Trevor is a fire prevention tech and rural firefighter after graduating from the Arizona Firefighting Academy. Trevor works for the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes as a firefighter and member of CSKT. Trevor grew up in Glendale, AZ and moved to Montana to spend time and help out with his family.

    Outside of dancing and work, Trevor enjoys volunteering as a wrestling coach for Polson High School, photography, drones, and fishing.
